Understanding district and seat labels

A district number belongs to a particular office. Congressional District 20 and State Senate District 20 are different areas.

Read the office, its district or seat, and “Who votes” together. A numbered seat can be elected countywide. Your precinct is the county’s voting area used to assign your polling place.
