5Candidates & offices

All 46 candidate contests and six ballot questions in DeKalb’s November 3, 2026 composite sample ballot were reviewed on September 21. This county guide includes every district and local contest in that ballot. You vote only in the contests assigned to your address; city wards and the Tucker annexation area require confirmation on your personal sample ballot.

Understanding district and seat labels

A district number belongs to a particular office. Congressional District 5 and State Senate District 5 are different areas.

Read the office, its district or seat, and “Who votes” together. A numbered seat can be elected countywide. Your precinct is the county’s voting area used to assign your polling place.
