5Candidates & offices

November 3 county sample ballots and the state certification were checked September 26. Includes the regular and separate unexpired-term Senate District 22 elections, county courts, JP/constable precincts, city and school contests. Voting precinct 58 crosses JP boundaries; that JP/constable match still needs county confirmation. West Lake Village MMD eligibility also needs confirmation; its contests remain in the county reference.

Understanding district and seat labels

A district number belongs to a particular office. Congressional District 20 and State Senate District 20 are different areas.

Read the office, its district or seat, and “Who votes” together. A numbered seat can be elected countywide. Your precinct is the county’s voting area used to assign your polling place.
