Town of Poetry, Proposition A

Who votes: Registered voters inside Poetry municipal limits.

Reauthorizes a 1.5% local sales and use tax for maintenance and repair of municipal streets; without renewal, the tax expires on the fourth anniversary of the election.

FOR Reauthorizes the street-maintenance tax.

AGAINST Does not reauthorize it.

The reauthorization of a local sales and use tax in the Town of Poetry at the rate of one and one-half percent (1.5%) to continue providing revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets. The tax expires on the fourth anniversary of the date of this election unless the imposition of the tax is reauthorized.
