Who votes: Only registered voters residing inside Comal Independent School District; confirm district eligibility on the official sample ballot.

Issuance of $539,955,000 in bonds for school facilities, land, safety and security, and buses. Texas school bond ballot language identifies this as a property tax increase.

FOR Authorizes these district bonds and repayment tax.

AGAINST Does not authorize these district bonds.

THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of bonds in an amount not to exceed $539,955,000 by the Comal Independent School District for the design, construction, rehabilitation, renovation, expansion, improvement, acquisition, and equipment of school facilities, the necessary sites for school facilities, and the purchase of school buses and vehicles, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds.

THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of bonds in an amount not to exceed $27,045,000 by the Comal Independent School District for the acquisition, improvement, and updates of technology equipment, systems, and infrastructure (including new classroom computers and devices), and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds.
