5Candidates & offices

Includes active November 3 entries returned by the South Carolina Election Commission for this county on September 15. Some school, fire, water and other special districts cross county lines; those records remain in the county reference until their boundaries are matched.

Understanding district and seat labels

A district number belongs to a particular office. Congressional District 20 and State Senate District 20 are different areas.

Read the office, its district or seat, and “Who votes” together. A numbered seat can be elected countywide. Your precinct is the county’s voting area used to assign your polling place.
