County offices and school boards

County commissions, city councils and school systems have their own boundaries and election cycles. Atlanta Public Schools is separate from Fulton County Schools. In DeKalb, a regular commission district and a super district are separate seats.

Many Georgia nonpartisan judicial and school-board elections take place in May. An office appearing on a district map is not automatically a November contest. Check the November sample ballot for any remaining contests or special elections.
