5Candidates & offices

Candidate names and offices are imported from the official November general-election county common sample ballot. District alternatives are labeled; your personal sample ballot confirms the contests you can vote in.

Understanding district and seat labels

A district number belongs to a particular office. Congressional District 20 and State Senate District 20 are different areas.

Read the office, its district or seat, and “Who votes” together. A numbered seat can be elected countywide. Your precinct is the county’s voting area used to assign your polling place.
